Getting a Print Account (FASprint)

You will need to set up a print account in FASprint to use the photocopiers in the MCM and FNH buildings. Your photocopy/printing jobs will be charged on a monthly basis to the worktag (Program/Grant/Gift) provided in the next step.

New Accounts

If you are the worktag manager with no existing account in FASprint, please contact LFS Finance lfs.finance@ubc.ca with the following information to establish a charge back agreement:

  • Your name and CWL ID
  • A worktag (Program/Grant/Gift) that you have signing authority

Adding Additional Users to your Account

Worktag managers can add additional users to their FASprint printing account by sending the following information to the LFS Learning Centre at it@landfood.ubc.ca:

  • CWL ID of the additional users
  • The Account to add these users to
  • The user's role (student, post-doc, staff)

It is the responsibility of the FASprint account holder to inform the LFS Learning Centre when a user in their account should have their print access removed.

Accessing the Copiers

The copiers have a card reader where you will swipe your UBCcard to access print release, photocopying, and scanning.

Instructors requiring print and copy access for their assigned courses should contact Melanie Train to arrange for access.
